Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2023

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your use of the Buzz for Animals, LLC ("Buzz") Platform and Services. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Platform.

Be Kind, Be Ethical
  • Use the Platform to support your animal welfare mission
  • Treat Buzz team members, support staff, and other users with respect
  • Clients and their users must interact with Buzz team members in a respectful and professional manner.
    Note: Disrespectful behavior may result in suspension or termination of services.
Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Upload or share obscene, threatening, abusive, or otherwise offensive content
  • Send spam, phishing attempts, or bulk unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, data, password, or account
  • Interfere with the normal functioning or security of the Platform
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
Personal Information

You may upload and store personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, addresses, emails, and phone numbers, only for the legitimate operation of your animal rescue or shelter and in compliance with all applicable data privacy laws.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Adoption, foster, volunteer, and donor records
  • Internal staff or volunteer contact details

You may not:

  • Upload sensitive PII not required for your use of the Platform (e.g., social security numbers, credit card numbers, health or medical records)
  • Share or sell user data outside of your organization
  • Use the Platform to collect information from minors without appropriate consent
Content Management

You are responsible for the content you upload, post, or otherwise make available via the Platform.

Make sure it is:

  • Accurate, lawful, and appropriate
  • Not infringing on anyone else's intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to remove content that violates this Policy or applicable laws.

Embeds, iFrames, and External Links

You may not:

  • Embed, iframe, or link to any third-party tools, websites, or services that directly compete with Buzz
  • Circumvent Buzz features or workflows through third-party applications
  • Any exceptions require prior written approval from Buzz.

We may revise this Policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes, and continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Policy.
